The Haemimont Foundation was organized on July 4, 1997, in Sofia, Bulgaria as a corporation supporting not-for-profit activities for the public good, primarily in the areas of education and cultural preservation.

Since inception, we have provided academic scholarships to especially gifted school and university-level students, and funding for: infrastructure projects at select schools and universities; participation in national and international Olympiads for mathematics, informatics, and the natural sciences; archaeological excavations; and the publication of scholarly books, including photographic collections focused on Balkan traditions and heritage.
